Challenge

This project explores reggaeton as a contradictory cultural space shaped by tensions between machismo and queerness, nostalgia and rebranding, community and conflict. The project was developed in collaboration with Diego Massimi.

Results

Through text, illustration, and editorial design, the publication reflects on how reggaeton is experienced, misunderstood, and often difficult to translate outside of its context. Intended as part of the independent Berlin-based Editorial Volverse catalogue, the fanzine is designed for circulation in small fairs and cultural events.
