About the Project

An illustrated children’s book developed together with Diego Massimi, created to explore identity, migration, and family emotions through a child’s perspective. A reduced vector style with symbolic fragments and exaggerated proportions keeps the narrative accessible while supporting the emotional depth of the story.

Concept & Storytelling

The story introduces themes of being a second‑generation migrant child, showing how parents carry their own histories, fears, and migration journeys. By portraying the father as a jaguar, powerful, different, and sometimes distant, the book helps children understand that adults also feel, struggle, and adapt.
